Liam Eades

Unhinged Geology was founded by Liam Eades, an exploration geologist with experience working on mineral systems throughout Nevada and New Mexico, as well as other regions of the western United States with expertise in Central Nevada and the Walker Lane.

Liam’s work focuses on identifying and evaluating mineral systems within structurally complex geological environments, particularly within Nevada’s Walker Lane structural zone and Basin and Range province, as well as volcanic and sedimentary terranes across the Southwest.

His exploration experience includes work on:

• Lithium-bearing claystone systems

• Epithermal gold and silver deposits

• Placer gold systems and their upstream lode sources

Through Unhinged Geology, Liam provides consulting services to mineral exploration companies seeking geological interpretation, exploration strategy, and technical project support.

Tonopah Field Office

To better serve exploration clients operating in central Nevada, Unhinged Geology maintains a field office in Tonopah, Nevada.

Located in the heart of one of Nevada’s most active exploration corridors, the Tonopah office allows the company to provide rapid field support, project oversight, and geological services to clients operating throughout the surrounding districts, including:

Unhinged Geology is primarily focused on mineral exploration projects across Nevada and the broader Basin and Range Province, one of the most productive mining regions in the world. Nevada’s unique geology, defined by complex fault systems, volcanic activity, and sedimentary basin development, hosts a wide range of mineral systems including lithium claystone deposits, epithermal gold and silver systems, and structurally controlled precious-metal targets.

With active work and field presence in central Nevada, particularly around Tonopah, Goldfield, Clayton Valley, and Lida Valley, Unhinged Geology supports exploration programs operating in some of the state’s most prospective districts. These areas sit within the Walker Lane structural zone, a geologically dynamic region that continues to produce new discoveries and attract significant exploration investment.
